Gribbin Developments Ltd is a long established, family run company in Northern Ireland. We have an expansive and impressive portfolio of projects throughout the region including new builds, refurbishments, residential, commercial, civil works and National Trust projects.

Oliver Gribbin BSC(Hons)
Managing Director
Oliver Gribbin – Oliver has over 40 year’s experience in the construction industry following graduation from the Queen’s University of Belfast in 1977 with a B.Sc (Honours) Degree in Civil Engineering. After working in the industry, both in England and Ireland, it was time to set up on his own and Oliver decided to found Gribbin Developments over 35 years ago
During time, Oliver has built up a solid base of employees, sub-contractors and trusted tradesmen. Oliver is a natural problem-solver with a logical mind, and is totally ‘hands on’ in his personal oversight of every contract to ensure the highest of standards are maintained. Oliver remains the main point of contact for every client.
Barry Gribbin
Director & Site Foreman
Since leaving full time education, Barry has worked within Gribbin Developments Ltd for over 15 years. Initially a skilled joiner, Barry has gained a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of construction which he has developed over a number of prestigious projects.
In 2013, Barry graduated from the University of Ulster with Distinction in Construction & Engineering (FdSc), and has been responsible for the management and organisation of many large projects. Barry combines fastidious attention to fine detail with an amiable personality to guarantee that all our enterprises are completed to the highest possible standard.
Anne Gribbin
Director and Head of Finance
With her keen eye for detail and statistics, Anne oversees all Company finances. Anne is responsible for all invoicing, and accounts payable and receivable.
With over 30 year’s experience in this role, Anne ensures all finances are accurate and dealt with in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
Michelle Morris
Operations Manager
After graduating with Distinction from the University of Ulster in 2006 with the Degree of Associate Bachelor in Engineering, Michelle went on to study Mechanical Engineering and worked in the crushing and screening industry. With a decade of experience in this field and in Precast Concrete, Michelle moved back into the construction industry, where her interest in engineering initally started.
Michelle is responsible for all aspects of office administration (including IT, marketing, human resources, health and safety training, procurement, tendering, and materials). Michelle’s commitment is to ensure that the safest and most efficient service is provided by Gribbin Developments Limited to meet the needs and expectations of each client.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS THINK
Our home was completed in 2004 after almost 4 years of purchasing, designing and planning.
Building your own home can be a very stressful and anxious process, but we can honestly say that Oliver's calm and orderly approach helped us enormously.
The attention to detail and level of skill from the workers employed during construction ensured that our home was completed to an exceptionally high standard.
Oliver is a perfectionist and this is reflected in his choice of skilled tradesmen who are employed by him.

Gribbin Developments completed an extension to our home in 2014/5, taking approximately 12 months to complete. We selected the company following a tender process, supported by the recommendation of our architect and the project QS.
Throughout the project we found Oliver and his team highly professional in all that they did but more importantly very accommodating and pragmatic in dealing with the practical challenges, which come with such a project.
The dedicated site foreman worked very hard to make living on site as easy as possible for us, and had a very proactive and patient approach throughout the build. The workmen were always very professional and accommodating, taking great pride in their work. Many of them had worked for Oliver for several years, being tradesmen that Oliver could rely on.
We are both very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the end build, and are enjoying the new space.
We would not hesitate to use Oliver and his team again.
